A DFM DC-4, repainted
professionally by SAS in early 1950 when the Viking longship/dragon
head theme was modernised but before the white cabin roof fashion
was spreading. SAS did not throw away models when the livery was
changed. They collected and repainted the models. The DFM casting of
the DC 4/DC 6 was repainted twice by SAS as my models show by
comparison. |
